Performing arts

At Tagore Public School, the arts—encompassing dance, drama, and music—are integral to fostering creativity, self-expression, and cultural appreciation. These disciplines are woven into the school’s curriculum through well-structured programs and events, providing students with opportunities to explore their talents and develop confidence. Regular performances, workshops, and cultural festivals allow students to showcase their artistic skills while cultivating a deeper understanding of various traditions and forms of expression. The school believes that exposure to the arts enhance emotional intelligence, teamwork, and holistic development.

  • Arts: Our arts program offers students the chance to explore various mediums, from painting and sculpture to digital design. Regular art exhibitions provide a platform for students to present their work, fostering an appreciation for visual creativity and critical thinking.

  • Dance and Drama: Dance and drama are embedded into our extracurricular activities, offering students opportunities to participate in choreographed performances and theatrical productions. Through these mediums, students develop physical coordination, teamwork, and the ability to express complex emotions and ideas.

  • Music: Music education at Tagore Public School focuses on both vocal and instrumental training. Students are encouraged to participate in school choirs, bands, and solo performances, which enhance their understanding of rhythm, melody, and musical theory, while also improving discipline and focus.
